First Thursday opening, Thursday, 5th September from 6 - 9pm.
Due to
the acclaimed success of this large and varied show, it will continue until the end of
October.
The Salon Show
- An exhibit of works by 42 artists hung in the manner of the Salon Shows, which was
a popular manner of display in the early years of the 20th Century. The show
includes 127 works of art.
Artists represented are from Portland, the Northwest, the Southwest and East Coast as well
as England and Ireland. These artists consist of those just embarking on their
career to members of the English Royal Academy.
Artwork includes tiny encaustics to large oils, collage and mixed media, watercolors,
acrylics and calligraphy.
Artists range in age from 10 years old to 83 years old.
