Broderick Gallery is now accepting submissions for "Unexpected Beauty, Street Views"

 

Selection Procedure: George Broderick will jury Work. Work will be selected from actual paintings brought into the Galleries on January 20 or January 21, 2009 (Lake Oswego location January 20, downtown location January 21)

 

Gallery Sales: 40% to artist, 40% to Gallery, 20% to Street Yoga

 

Delivery of Work: Your completed submission form, application fee and labelled artwork must be delivered to Broderick Gallery, 814 SW First Ave, Portland, Oregon on Wednesday, January 21, 2009. (between 11:00 am and 6:00 pm.)

As an alternative you may  deliver your work to Broderick’s other location  at 15800 SW Upper Boones Ferry Road #120, Lake Oswego, OR 97035 on Tuesday, January 20, 2009. (between 11:00 am and 6:00 pm)
This is just an optional drop-off location for your convenience; the exhibit will be displayed in the Broderick Gallery downtown.

Please make only one submission of up to 5 paintings to one location on the appropriate date.

If shipping work: Shipping to and from the Broderick Gallery is at the artist’s expense. Prepayment paperwork or a check for the proper return-shipping amount must be received by Broderick Gallery.

Unaccepted work: Artists will be notified of works not selected, which need to be retrieved on Tuesday, January 27, 2009 between 10am and 6 pm (from the location you delivered to).

 

Agreement: Submissions of any entries constitutes agreement to all conditions mentioned in this prospectus.

Reproduction: Broderick Gallery reserves the right to reproduce accepted entries for all marketing purposes.

Broderick Gallery "Unexpected Beauty" Submission Procedures recap in brief:

To be considered you must complete the following:

1. Fill out the application provided

2. Include payment (payable to Broderick Gallery)

3. Label each painting with your name, title of the piece, medium, size and retail price

4. Include a comprehensive resume and artist’s statement

5. Bring up to five paintings into the downtown gallery location January 21, 2009 (10am-6pm) or up to five paintings into the optional Lake Oswego gallery location on January 20, 2009 (10am-6pm)

6. Pick up unaccepted work on January 27 from the gallery you submitted to (if applicable)

 

INCOMPLETE APPLICATIONS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.
